It is what it is. We’re not making shots and if you’re not making shots you got to be able to kind of at least make up for it with offensive rebounds or your defense and we haven’t been doing that either. We did a little bit against BU, but I think St. Joe’s has a really good team and you’re not going to do it against teams like that on the road. You’ve got to make some shots.

Yep, sounds about right.
"The ref came over and said ‘You have five fouls. Do you want to foul here? If you’re fouling, I don’t want to miss it. We had six on our book, so we sent a guy to the scorer’s table and said ‘How many fouls?’ and they said ‘Five, you have five.’ So we were just fouling to make them have a longer possession. We didn’t want to foul there. We don’t want to put them on the line for one-and-one. It happens, but there were so many other plays after that. I’ve never seen it happen before, but you control what you can control. I mean, we had plenty of other opportunities. It was just bizarre. It was more on us."

Report: BYU won't join Big East
Yet another school has said no to joining the Big East; this time it's Brigham Young University. The two sides had been talking for weeks, but when the issue of TV rights for football games arose, BYU wanted to retain the rights for its home football games, and the Big East would not allow that. Again, the conference and its expansion plans are back to square one.
Cheek Named to Big East Honor Roll
A big reason Villanova is off to a 3-0 start stems from the play of junior Dominic Cheek. He averaged 22 points and 6 rebounds over the stretch of games against Monmouth, Lasalle, and Delaware. As a result, the Big East named Cheek to this week's Big East Honor Roll.
