Villanova Lacrosse Earns At-Large NCAA Tournament Berth

The Villanova men's lacrosse team was rewarded for a strong season with an at-large berth to the NCAA Tournament on Sunday. You can check out the full 16-team NCAA Tournament bracket at College Crosse. The video above is footage of the lax team learning their fate on Sunday evening.
Despite a weekend loss to Georgetown, 'Nova squeezed into the field and will play at Denver in the 1st round this coming Sunday. The Pioneers won the ECAC Championship this season and were given the #6 seed in this year's tournament.
The 'Nova-Denver matchup will drop at 5:15 ET on Sunday May 15th and will be televised live on ESPNU. The winner will play the victor of the Johns Hopkins-Hofstra game.
