National Signing Day: Jordan Canzeri Signs With Iowa, Spurns Villanova

Despite all the good news rolling in today with signed Letters of Intent from highly-regarded prospects such as Jamal Abdur-Rahman and Corey Majors, Villanova did receive a bit of bad news to go with it. Highly touted WR Jordan Canzeri has pulled a last-minute switch, and has signed a LOI with the Iowa Hawkeyes after originally committing to the Villanova Wildcats.

Canzeri, a 2-star prospect according to Rivals.com, boasted a ton of speed and would have been a perfect fit in Andy Talley's spread offense.
