Kicking Off The Football Season With EA Sports

Summer is my favorite time of year. Warm weather, beaches, barbecues, and the building anxiety of the gridiron returning in just a couple of months.

This year, EA Sports is sponsoring a campaign with SB Nation to celebrate college football and its fans in anticipation of the release of NCAA Football 2011 next Tuesday, July 13th.It's a great campaign, and the idea is for us to tell you how we became fans with our reads hopefully sharing their stories as well.

Since we are an FCS school in football, we're taking part in the watered-down version of the campaign. The argument for us making the game is a completely separate discussion. I mean we're National Champions and we beat an FBS school! Oh well. We'll have 3 posts this week, with the schedule as follows:
